Get to know Your Instructor
my name is Jasmine I am California girl born and raised, with a passion for connection through clay. it is my greatest pleasurer and joy is getting to teach others to make something out of their imagination and bring it to life in an actual form. I strive to constantly learn, grow, and create. I have been teaching for 15 plus years now , and have thought/ studied globally in ceramics as well. My favorite thing to make is something functional in your day to day made well, with a little bit of character to bring a piece to life
The Range OF Ceramic Art
Different types of clay, using the periotic table to learn the science behind glazes, thinking like an engineer to make clay structures, different types of firings , temps and their effects on the raw materials, all of these things make up the vastness that is ceramics and its deeply rooted history that made us in our human story. There's so many things to experiment and learn in ceramics that we welcome anyone willing to try, so come play with clay
