Village Art Project is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur on our property, during a class, or while using any equipment. By stepping onto our property, you accept full responsibility for your actions, use of equipment, and safety.
We require all participants to follow studio guidelines and instructor directions to minimize risk. Failure to do so may result in removal from the studio without a refund.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable environment, all participants must:
Use tools, kilns, and pottery wheels properly and safely.
Clean their workspace after use.
Follow the guidance of instructors and staff.
Wear appropriate clothing, including closed-toe shoes.
Avoid bringing food and drinks near equipment.
Failure to follow these guidelines may result in restricted access to the studio.
SECTION 4 - MISSED CLASSES & REFUNDS
We encourage students to attend all scheduled classes. However, our refund and cancellation policies are as follows:
Cancellations made at least 4 days before the class starts will receive a full refund.
Workshop cancellations made at least 4 days before the start date will be refunded minus a $20 cancellation fee.
Cancellations made between 4 days and 24 hours before the class starts will receive a 50% refund or a 50% credit toward a future class.
We do not issue refunds or credits for cancellations made less than 24 hours before class starts, missed classes, or late arrivals.
If you must miss a class, you may have the option to attend another session (subject to availability), but this is not guaranteed.
SECTION 5 - PIECE STORAGE & PICKUP POLICY
Due to space limitations, we cannot store unclaimed pieces indefinitely.
Greenware (unfired pottery) must be finished and submitted for firing by the last class session. Any unfinished greenware left behind will be discarded.
Bisque-fired and completed pieces will be stored for one month after your class ends. If not picked up within this time, they may be discarded to make room for new work.
If you anticipate needing more time, please inform an instructor or staff member in advance.
SECTION 6 - FIRING TIMELINES
For single-session classes (e.g., Bowl in One, Happy Hour): Your pieces will be fired within three weeks, and we’ll notify you when they are ready for pickup.
For multi-week courses: The typical turnaround for glazing and final firing is 1-2 weeks, but this can vary depending on kiln load.
We do not send individual notifications for fired pieces, so you are responsible for checking on their status.
SECTION 7 - STUDIO ACCESS & OPEN STUDIO HOURS
Students who are actively enrolled in a class may use the studio during open studio hours for additional practice. Space is limited, and we require advance sign-ups to manage occupancy.
SECTION 8 - PRICING & MODIFICATIONS TO SERVICES
We reserve the right to adjust pricing or discontinue services at any time without prior notice.
We are not responsible for any modifications, suspensions, or discontinuations of classes, workshops, or services due to unforeseen circumstances.
